Laryea Kingston suggest strategy to Otto Addo in match against Nicaragua
Former Ghana international, Laryea Kingston, has advised Otto Addo to stick to the three-back system against Nicaragua on Tuesday.
Kingston, who was speaking on the Joy Sports Link on Saturday, believes Addo should use the three-back system in the subsequent games as it worked in the second half against Brazil.
Looking at the squad and the type of players that we have now, I think we should stick to our back three but then again, we have to work on when we get the ball and we are trying to go forward
When we are on the ball, I don’t see any shape of the team but off the ball I can that it’s very clear that we are five at the back, two in the middle and three in front of them.”
Laryea also urged Ghana to be confident in themselves and play the ball out from the back against Nicaragua and not be scared like they were against Brazil.
That’s how come the Brazilians broke us (Ghana) so against Nicaragua we should be able to be very calm
Ghana will play another pre-World Cup friendly against Nicaragua on Tuesday, September 26, 2022.
